Delia Romero Taschner was born September 12, 1920, and passed away on Febraury 17, 2014. Delia was born in Mount Dora, New Mexico, to Pablo and Leonor Romero. Although Delia was born in New Mexico, she was raised in Ft. Lupton, Colorado. She married Walter Erwin Taschner in San Antonio, Texas, in May of 1944. They made their home in Denver, Colorado, where they raised five daughters - Joan Ellen Taschner Valdez, Diane Ida Taschner Lopez, Darlene Rose Taschner Trujillo, Sandra Mae Taschner Lopez and Laurie Sue Taschner Cabral - all who still reside in Denver. In addition to being a wife and mother, Delia in later years worked outside the home at various positions and eventually retired from Denver Health Medical Center. Delia is not only survived by her daughters but also by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends who will greatly miss her.

A Memorial Service for Delia will be held on Saturday, March 1st at 4:30PM, Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 2779 West Wesley Avenue, Denver. Her Committal Service will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery at a later date.
