Donna Gloria Moya, a light of love and laughter, passed away on March 18, 2024, at the age of 83. Born on September 11, 1940, in Denver, Colorado, Donna was one of ten siblings born to Manuel and Rachael Moya. She spent her life in West Denver, where she grew up and graduated from West High School.
Donna's life was a testament to love and devotion, especially to her family. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Todd Ursetta, and her parents, Manuel and Rachael, as well as her siblings: Fred, Steve, Cesar, Leroy, Edmond and Grace Moya. In heaven, she is reunited with them and many other cherished loved ones. Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Helen Arguello, Anita Moya Maestas, and Waunita Moya, with whom she shared a close bond.
Left to carry on her legacy are her son, Albert Frank Ursetta, her grandchildren, Naticia Louise Gonzales, Angelina Donna Ursetta Reed (Husband: Ryan Scott Reed), Nicolina Eileen Ursetta, Albert James Ursetta, Vincent Robert Ursetta and three great-grandchildren. Donna's greatest joy in life came from being a grandmother, and she poured her love and wisdom into each moment spent with her grandchildren. She was their rock, their confidante, and their source of unconditional love and support.
Donna's laughter was infectious, and her love for jazz music, especially Frank Sinatra, was well known. She found solace in the warmth of the sun, often spending the most beautiful day on her porch surrounded by loved ones. Hosting holiday gatherings with her family also brought her great joy, as did the conversations and laughter shared during those times.
Throughout her life, Donna would often say, "I lived a long and wonderful life," and indeed she did. She faced each day with gratitude and appreciation for all of the blessings that surrounded her.
More than anything, Donna will be remembered for her loving heart, her unwavering loyalty, her resilience, and her ability to build everlasting bonds with those she loved most. She was a beacon of strength and support for her family and friends, always ready to offer a listening ear. Her legacy of love and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
