Freddie spent his adolescence and teen years in San Antonio Texas. Throughout his teen’s, and early adult hood he liked to party and go to the Pepsi Pena show to dance this was known as a recorded TV show. Which was alike to american band stand where people would go to listen and dance to their favorite music He had a dog named blackie he took with him everywhere he would go. As time passed his family headed back to Denver in 1973 to create a better life for their family.

At 18 years old Fred started working for Stanley structures. After that he had worked at the goodwill like his mother Olivia. He went on to work for the city of Denver as a flag man. Soon after that he found his passion which would be window tinting. He then spent most of his (31 year) career perfecting the art of window tinting. He had 3 shops throughout the Denver metro area named ABC window tinting. He was very successful and took pride in his work. He was a hard worker after all and had a goal to be a millionaire, which he then accomplished shortly after even though having not finished his genral education studies, which was due to having to help and provide for his family.

His hobbies included fishing, camping, gambling listening to country, Motown and The Beatles, watching the Denver Broncos, Nuggets and the Colorado Rockies, and going to the casino. One of his passions was heading up the hill to play keno. He knew how to play and wanted to show everyone how to win. Most of all he showed everyone how to tint windows of any kind. residential or cars ,you name it . If it could be tinted Mr. Lopez could make it happen. He wanted to show everyone a trade, a skill. Instead of giving people the fish he took much more satifaction in giving someone the pole and teaching them how to fish. Freddie Lopez was a Jack of all trades. And a master of most. And was ALWAYS RELIABLE.

Fred enjoyed being around his family, playing games, cards, and sharing his creative mind and vibrant personality. Some of his happiest moments were of family gatherings with his nieces, nephews and children and grandchildren playing RC car and playing chess. He was always the life of the party. Our gatherings would go on for hours.

After diagnosis of Pulmonary fibrosis disease in October 2022 he had a battle that ensued, putting up a great fight and never giving up the whole way through. With the deep implacful support of his wife Juanita. Freddie had the support system some could only dream of until the very very end.

Freddie passed away on Tuesday morning at 2:09 am May 20th 2025 at UCHEALTH in the ICU, while receiving care. And comfort and with the presence of his wife, his daughters his grandson and close family at arms reach drifting peacefully into the arms of his angels.
