Gloria Rita Borjon, aged 86, began her journey from this life on Monday, March 16th 2026. She passed peacefully in her own casa in Denver, Colorado, closely supported and surrounded by her pride and joy, her children and grandchildren. She was born to Jesusita Chavez Hernandez Borjon and Augustine Lorenzo Murrillo Borjon on May 22nd, 1939 in Pueblo, Colorado.

Gloria was preceded in death by her mother, Jesusita, her father Augustine, and her Siblings William Barba, Andrew Barba, Louis Barba, Francis Martinez Barba, Juanita Barba. Gloria devoted her life to her children and family. She is survived by her children Judith Gomez (Daughters Alma & Izel, and Spouse Andres), Eduardo Gomez (Daughter Essence, Sons Aiden & Xaidan, and Spouse Melissa), and Jaim̃e Gomez (Son Michael, Daughter Ahmi, and Spouse Michelle) as well as great grandchildren Liam and Jaxzen.

After receiving her education at Central High School in Pueblo and College in Southern Colorado State College and in Duluth Minnesota, she dedicated her professional work to supporting those in need in our community. She worked at Pueblo Catholic Charities, The War on Poverty Program including the Head Start Program, Denver Catholic Charities and Immigration Services, and the Denver Children’s Home.
