In Loving Memory of Lonicia Ruby Bueno

February 14, 1948 – September 25, 2026

Lonicia Ruby Bueno, lovingly known as Ruby, was born in LaSalle, Colorado. She was the second-youngest of her siblings. At 17, she moved to Denver, where she made her home and built a life surrounded by family.

Ruby was a loving mother, grandmother, godmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her children, Christina (Tim), Patty, Adam, and Frank; her brother, Sonny; and her sister, Lupe. She was also blessed with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Ruby was a godmother to several children and held a special place in many hearts.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Bobby, Joe, Mary, Jenny, and Jesse.

Ruby’s favorite color was purple. When she was younger, she loved to go dancing, and she loved her country. She also adored her pug, Jordy, whom she loved like her own child.

Ruby’s kindness, welcoming spirit, and love for her family will live on in all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
