Lonnie Kay Mendoza age 62, of Denver, Colorado, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on February 8, 2026.

Lonnie was born on May 7, 1963 in Clinton,Oklahoma to Lawrence and Emma Francis. She is survived by her beloved husband John, her daughters Nelly Hernandez, Kelly Atayde, her two sisters, and her cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Lonnie was a proud Denver Native who loved her Broncos and chili rellenos from Las Delicias.

Lonnie met the love of her life John in July 2006 and from then on, they shared 20 years of love, devotion and unwavering support for one another.

Lonnie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Her family was the center of her life.

Lonnie will be remembered by her loving spirit,strength,and contagious smile.
