En Memoria de Checha

Nació el 23 de noviembre de 1942, en Yepomera, Chihuahua, México. Creció en el rancho de su mamá, donde pasó su infancia rodeada de su familia y de las raíces y tradiciones de la vida en el campo.Durante su adolescencia, Checha se mudó a la ciudad de Chihuahua en busca de trabajo y nuevas oportunidades. Fue más adelante en su vida cuando conoció a quien sería su esposo, Rodolfo Zubiate Torres. Después de casarse, Rodolfo la apoyó para que dejara de trabajar y pudiera dedicarse a su hogar y a su familia. Checha entregó su vida a ser una esposa y madre amorosa, dedicándose con todo su corazón a cuidar y criar a sus hijos.Checha fue una orgullosa madre de tres hijos:Rodolfo Zubiate Marquez, casado con Elvira Aguirre Moncayo, con quienes tuvo dos hijos: Erik Rodolfo Zubiate Aguirre y Karen Araceli Zubiate Aguirre.Martha Zubiate de Gomez, casada con Jorge Hugo Gomez Leon, con quienes tuvo tres hijos: Jorge Hugo Gomez, Anthony Gomez y Paola A. Gomez Zubiate.Raquel Zubiate Marquez de Corral, casada con Hugo Corral Fernandez, con quienes tuvo dos hijos: Hugo Corral y Carlos Corral.Checha también tuvo la dicha de convertirse en abuela y, con el paso de los años, en bisabuela. Dos de sus nietos, Karen Zubiate y Hugo Corral, le dieron la hermosa bendición de ser bisabuela de seis niños.Karen la hizo bisabuela de Sofia y Luis.Hugo la hizo bisabuela de Lilly Rose, Hugo, Coraline y Gregory.La familia siempre fue el centro de la vida de Checha. Entregó su amor, su tiempo y sus cuidados a quienes la rodeaban, dejando como su mayor legado la familia que formó y las generaciones que nacieron de ella.La vida de Checha estuvo llena de amor, sacrificio, familia y dedicación. Aunque ya no estará físicamente a nuestro lado, el amor que dio a sus hijos, nietos, bisnietos y a todos quienes tuvieron la dicha de conocerla permanecerá para siempre.Su recuerdo vivirá eternamente en el corazón de su familia, y su amor continuará a través de cada generación que deja atrás.

In Loving Memory of Checha

Checha was born on November 23, 1942, in Yepomera, Chihuahua, Mexico. She was raised on her mother’s ranch, where she spent her childhood surrounded by family and the simple beauty of ranch life.As a teenager, Checha moved to Chihuahua, Mexico, in search of work and new opportunities. It was later in life that she met her husband, Rodolfo Zubiate Torres. After they married, Rodolfo took her out of the workforce, and Checha devoted her life to being a loving wife and mother. She dedicated herself to her family and helped raise her children, always putting her family first.Checha was a proud mother of three children:Rodolfo Zubiate Marquez, married to Elvira Aguirre Moncayo, with two children, Erik Rodolfo Zubiate Aguirre and Karen Araceli Zubiate Aguirre.Martha Zubiate de Gomez, married to Jorge Hugo Gomez Leon, with three children, Jorge Hugo Gomez, Anthony Gomez, and Paola A. Gomez Zubiate.Raquel Zubiate Marquez de Corral, married to Hugo Corral Fernandez, with two children, Hugo Corral and Carlos Corral.Checha was also blessed to become a grandmother and later a great-grandmother. Two of her grandchildren, Karen Zubiate and Hugo Corral, gave her the beautiful title of Great-Grandmother to six children.Karen blessed Checha with Sofia and Luis.Hugo blessed her with Lilly Rose, Hugo, Coraline, and Gregory. Family was at the heart of Checha’s life. She gave her love, time, and care to the people around her, and her greatest legacy will always be the family she built and the generations that came after her. Checha’s life was one of love, sacrifice, family, and devotion. Though she is no longer physically with us, the love she gave to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and everyone who knew her will continue to live on through them. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family, and her love will continue through every generation she leaves behind.
