Manuel Balbuena-Cano was born June 6, 1941. He will be remembered as a Loving Husband, Father, Uncle, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather. His parents were Ramon Balbuena and Dolores Cano De Balbuena. He is survived by his wife Elva Gloria Bojorquez De Balbuena, his two daughters Elva Liliana Balbuena, Monica Balbuena followed by his three sons, Manuel Balbuena Jr., Carlos Balbuena and Luis Miguel Balbuena.
Manuel was born and raised in a small ranch named “Zapien” in Parral, Chihuahua where he spent most of his youth raising horses and cattle.
On September 30, 1972 he married his wife Elva Gloria in Parral Chihuahua, Mexico. By 1975 Manuel and his wife Gloria moved to Denver, Colorado where he spent 20 years working as a meat packer for Levak Meat Company. Manuel then went on to work for the United Railroad as a maintenance technician installing tracks.
Manuel will be reminisced as a kind, loving and caring person. He brought joy into so many people’s lives with a loving heart and a great sense of humor. His love and passion caring for horses along with his storytelling while singing and bringing joy to those around him. Manuel was a humble person and cared for his loving family and friends. He will be missed greatly.
