Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband / father, Manuel A. Giron, on 5/16/2026, at the age of 79. He left this world peacefully, surrounded by his loving family.

Manuel A. Giron was born on 8/7/1946 in Trinidad, CO, the son of Elicia Martinez and Tubercio Giron. Manuel A. Giron was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, serving from 1964 to 1968. He received several accommodations, having received National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal (4 Bronze Stars), Vietnam Campaign Medal and Meritorious Unit Commendations for his service on several aircraft carries ranging from the USS Ticonderoga, USS Hancock, and USS Baharashad.

Throughout his life, Manuel A. Giron was a pillar of strength and a source of unwavering support for his family. He was a loving husband to Lorraine Giron, and together, they shared 57 years of cherished memories and boundless love. As a father, he was a guiding light to his children, Mike and Rosalie Giron, instilling in them values of integrity, hard work, and compassion. He treasured his role as a provider, protector, and mentor to his family. His unwavering love, guidance, and support were the foundation that shaped their lives, leaving an enduring legacy of compassion, strength, and unity.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving daughter Rosalie Giron. Manuel A. Giron is survived by his wife Lorraine Giron, son Mike Giron (Ava Giron), two grandchildren, five great-granddaughters, and two doggies, all of whom he adored dearly. He is also remembered fondly by his large extended family, all of whom were touched by his warmth and kindness.

As we bid farewell to our beloved husband / father, we find solace in the cherished memories we shared with him and the profound impact he had on our lives. His legacy of love, kindness, and resilience will live on in our hearts forever.
