Martina Perez Banuelos

Our beloved Martina Perez Banuelos “Polla” passed away peacefully from this life on the afternoon of February 26,2024. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and friends during the last days of her life. She fought strong this past year in her battle with breast cancer. Our warrior now has peace. Martina was born in Guadalupe Victoria, Nayarit and enjoyed her childhood and young adulthood there before making the move to the United States. She first lived in California for a few years and when her second daughter was on the way moved to Colorado and lived here for the remainder of her life.

Martina is survived by her daughters Deniss and Leslie Rodriguez and grandchildren. 

Besides spending time with her family and friends, Martina had a passion for traveling, dancing, and singing karaoke at family functions. Martina had a bright and energetic personality and was known for her ability to sense when people needed her help. She touched many lives with her generosity and passion for life. 

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering on Saturday March 9, 2024 anytime from 9am-12pm, the closing ceremony will be held from 12-1pm at Latina Funerals.

In lieu of roses, sunflowers are preferred, as they were Martina's favorite flowers. Additionally, if you would like to join her close friends and family in wearing yellow or pink we welcome you to do so. This again is a celebration of Martina's Life, and we would like the ceremonies to encompass the beauty she radiated daily.

Nuestra querida Martina Pérez Bañuelos “Polla” partio de esta vida la tarde del 26 de Febrero de 2024. Estuvo rodeada y apoyada por su amada familia y amigos durante los últimos días de su vida. Ella luchó muy fuerte el año pasado en su batalla contra el cáncer de mama. Nuestra guerrera ahora descansa en paz.

Martina nació en Guadalupe Victoria, Nayarit y disfrutó de su infancia y juventud allí antes de mudarse a los Estados Unidos. Primero vivió en California durante algunos años y cuando su segunda hija estaba en camino se mudó a Colorado y vivió aquí por el resto de su vida.

A Martina le sobreviven sus hijas Deniss y Leslie Rodríguez y sus nietos.

Además de pasar tiempo con su familia y amigos, a Martina le apasionaba viajar, bailar y cantar karaoke en eventos familiares. Martina tenía una personalidad brillante y energética y era conocida por su caridad y bondad hacia los demás. Tocó muchas vidas con su generosidad y pasión por la vida.

Se invita a familiares y amigos a asistir a una reunión de Celebración de la Vida el Sábado 9 de Marzo de 2024 en cualquier momento de 9 a. m. a 12 p. m., la ceremonia de clausura se llevará a cabo de 12 a 1 p. m. en Latina Funerals.

Esto nuevamente es una celebración de la vida de Martina y nos gustaría que las ceremonias abarcaran la belleza que ella irradiaba a diario.
