Nicole Rodriguez

Nicole (Nikki) Benjamin Rodriguez, beloved daughter, mother, sister, niece, cousin, and friend, unexpectedly passed away on Thursday February 2, 2023, at the age of 42.  Nicole is preceded in death by her father Michael Hernandez, paternal grandparents; Frank (Birdie) and Ida Hernandez, maternal grandparents; Bruno and Jessie Susie Rodriguez, uncle Adolph Lonnie Rodriguez, aunts Teresa Hernandez, Christina (Ignacia) Rodriguez, Connie Salazar and Hope Gray, cousins Martin Rodriguez Jr., Renee Nevares, and Aneattra Rodriguez. She is survived by her mother Rosalie Hernandez, son Adolph Jessie Cruz (AJ), brother Michael Gold, fiancé Jesus Magallanes, stepmother Robin Hernandez (of Montana), numerous, Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Nicole was born on Saturday October 4, 1980, to Michael and Rosalie Hernandez. Nicole grew up in the Eastside of Denver CO. and lived in Commerce City, CO. for the last 4 years with her mother and son.  Nicole attended Gilpin Elementary School, Morey Jr. High and East High School and earned her G.E.D.

On March 2, 2007, Nicole gave birth to her only child, Adolph Jessie Cruz, whom she loved with all her heart and soul.  She would always say that Adolph was the joy of her life.  Nicole cherished her relationship with her son, and it grew stronger and stronger each day.

Nicole loved her family and friends dearly and enjoyed spending time with them.  Those who knew Nicole knew she had a big heart, especially when it came to animals.  She loved her fur babies Peyton, Harley and baby Rosie who brought Nicole comfort through their presence.

Nicole’s smile, laughter, easy-going personality, and presence will be missed by all that knew her.  Nicole will forever be missed and will never, ever be forgotten.  Nicole will forever live in all our hearts.

Nicole loved the color pink, and we invite you to wear pink attire in Nicole’s honor/memory.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday February 28, 2023, at 11:00 am, at Latina Funeral and Cremations 3020 Federal Boulevard, Denver, CO 80211.

There will be a reception at Swansea Recreation Center, 2650 E 49th Ave, Denver, CO 80216 following the services 1:00pm-3:00pm.
