In Loving Memory of Olivia V. Balerio
January 6, 1949 – June 22, 2026
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, and friend, Olivia V. Balerio, who entered the presence of the Lord on June 22, 2026.
Olivia was born in Denver, Colorado, on January 6, 1949. She was known for her incredible work ethic, unwavering dedication, and compassionate heart. She proudly worked as a machine operator for 27 years at Keebler Cookies, where she became a cherished member of the Keebler Elf family. Later, she continued her career at Upsher-Smith Laboratories before retiring.
In retirement, Olivia found her greatest joy in spending time with her loving husband, Steve, traveling together, and creating precious memories with the family she loved so dearly. She was a devoted wife and the heart of her family. Her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren were her greatest pride and joy. She never missed an opportunity to tell others how many grandchildren she had and how deeply she loved each and every one of them.
Olivia had a special gift for nurturing not only people but also the beauty around her. Every year she could be found outside in her shorts with her hair tied back, planting flowers and tending to her beloved garden. Her treasured pomegranate bush brought her great joy, and her favorite flowers were gardenias and yellow roses.
Above all else, Olivia was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. Her faith guided every part of her life, and it was her heartfelt prayer that all of her children, grandchildren, and future generations would come to know and love the Lord. She loved unconditionally and welcomed everyone with kindness, warmth, and compassion.
Olivia is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved parents, her cherished animals, and her three children, Baby Jessica, Patrick, and George.
She leaves behind her devoted husband, Steve; her sister, Michelle; her brother, Zeke; her birth daughter, Laura; her adopted daughters, Avelina, Jessica, and Breanna; her bonus daughters, Savina and Tina; along with her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, extended family, and countless friends who will forever treasure her memory.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that Olivia is at peace in the arms of her Savior. Her love, faith, strength, and gentle spirit will continue to bloom in the lives of all who knew her, just as beautifully as the garden she so lovingly cared for.
"Well done, good and faithful servant." — Matthew 25:23
