With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Pedro Zapata, who was born on January 5, 1967, in Laredo, Texas, and passed away on September 22, 2026, in Denver, Colorado.

Pedro was the beloved son of Elena and Juan Zapata, and he is now reunited with his parents in eternal rest.

His remains will be repatriated to Laredo, Texas, where he will be laid to rest alongside his loved ones.

Pedro will always be remembered by all those who had the privilege of knowing him, sharing special moments with him, and being a part of his life. He had a wonderful and funny sense of humor that brought laughter and joy to those around him. His kindness, warmth, and laughter touched the lives of many, and his memory will remain forever in our hearts.

Pedro is survived by his beloved son, Peter “Ace” Zapata, and his two cherished grandsons, Daniel and James. He will also be deeply missed by his sisters, Lourdes, Carmen, Elena, and Margarita, as well as his beloved nephews, nieces, brother in laws and all of his extended family and loved ones.

Pedro was deeply loved and will be missed dearly by everyone who knew him. His legacy of love, kindness, laughter, and the beautiful memories he created will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

May he rest in peace, forever reunited with his beloved parents.
