Alfred Vasquez

Alfred Dennis Vasquez, age 62, passed away at home on Thursday August 19, 2021. Alfred was born in Denver, Colorado on December 07, 1958. He was raised in Denver and Louisville, Colorado. Alfred started working at a young age. Initially, he started out helping out the family restaurant/bar, the Track Inn. During his teen years he worked in an Italian restaurant called the Blue Parrot. He graduated from Centaurus High school. Then in his Twenties he began his blossoming career in the automotive industry, climbing the ranks of Firestone, Good Year and Bridgestone.  He even owned his own shop called Riverpoint Automotive.  He also did very well for himself as a Salesman for Burt Toyota.

He was a brilliant business man, however, even as successful as he was in this field; he still branched out as an entrepreneur. Alfred owned and ran various businesses, anything from selling and distributing candy to local businesses, to running his own hot dog cart at Rockies games. He even Co-owned a bar in downtown Denver with his father, called the American Inn. Even after being seriously injured, Alfred  he was still a man of business. He bought, invested in and managed several rental properties. These properties he maintained meticulously and was the best landlord.

Alfred loved nature he enjoyed long drives up to the mountains and fishing. Just being on the river in general, gave him peace. He liked reading the newspaper while sipping on his morning cup of coffee. He often had discussions with friends and was well versed in discussing politics along with current events. He was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking, especially for his family. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles, drinking beer and smoking Marlboros. Alfred was adored by his friends and family. He will be missed terribly.

He is survived by his wife Lillian Martinez-Vasquez, children Matthew Vasquez and Leah Vasquez (Nathaniel Rudnick), his sister Kathy Noffsinger, nieces Nicholle (Lorenzo) Moreno, Michelle (Colt) Smith and their children Neve Moreno and Reagan Smith, his nephews Nicholas Noffsinger and Steven Dalton. He is preceded in death by his parents Max Vasquez, Cora Adolphina (Cruz), sister Carmelita Vasquez, and brother-in-law Lloyd Noffsinger.

Memorial service will be held at Latina Funerals and Cremation 3020 Federal Boulevard, Denver, CO 80211 on Tuesday September the 14th at One O’clock in the afternoon. Reception will follow at Lakeview event center, 7864 W. Jewel Ave. Lakewood, CO, 80232 at three thirty in the afternoon to six O’ clock in the evening.
