Cynthia Star Graf, age 64, passed away peacefully on January 12th, 2022, with her son, daughter, granddaughter and sister by side. She is survived by her two children, Angela Leroux and Albert Leroux. Her 6 grandchildren, Katrina, Lorenzo, Dominique, Jerimiah, AJ, Noah and her great-granddaughter Kamilla. She is also survived by her siblings Toby, Tina and Anthony. Cindy was born on February 26, 1957, in Cheyenne, Wyoming to the late Sara Martinez and Blas Leroux. She would enjoy her childhood years in Denver, where she was surrounded by her large family. She was adored by her older siblings Gail, Lorraine and Blas who unfortunately like Cindy passed away too early. Cindy became a watchful, caring big sister to Toby, Tina, Anthony and Michael and took such pride in being their sister. She supported nurtured and took great care of them throughout different stages of their lives. Cindy received her GED and would never brag about her many accomplishments; she loved taking classes at The Community College of Denver earning an associate degree. In her adult life she had a lot of passion for hard work, of which she was influenced by her family. She dedicated her life to raising her kids, Angela and Albert near downtown Denver. She was a devoted mother who truly treasured her role as their mother. She would spring into action if they needed anything at all. She embraced every second with them. She encouraged them to live full lives and made sure that they were successful in each of their endeavors. The three of them leaned on each other through their many successes as a family and had a bond that was unbreakable and undeniable. She especially loved her grandchildren, Katrina, who was perfect in every sense to Cindy. She would be her constant companion as they rode the bus to every part of the city. It was always and adventure and Cindy never missed a performance or ceremony. She doted on Lorenzo, Dominique and Jerimiah always making time be with them. Her younger grandkids AJ and Noah gave her the spark to fight through an illness she had suffered from the past few years. She magically gained the strength she needed to laugh, hug, joke and be near her boys. Her family will be sure to share many loving and funny stories with her great granddaughter Kamilla. Cindy loved taking trips her sister Tina and the two would stay up laughing all night. Her family was truly her life; her entire face would light up with love when she told stories of them. She cherished her godson, nieces and nephews and had a way of being there at the right moment when they needed her the most. Cindy loved like no other. She was the kindest person you could ever meet. She opened her heart to all. She was a fantastic listener, listened without judgement offering loving words that everything would be alright, and you believed it when you left. She did everything with LOVE. Besides spending time with her family, Cindy enjoyed watching Judge Judy, her favorite show. For 9 years she worked at the Goodwill as a cashier, where she would be on the lookout for items for us. She would send pictures “Is this what you’re looking for?” She loved working at the Goodwill, and her customers and co-workers loved her, as she was a natural caretaker making each person, she encountered feel special. She made a forever impression. Cindy will be immensely missed and remembered by her beautiful face and contagious laugh.
