The sun rose on the life of Tina Marie Dix on September 13th, 1965 in Denver, Colorado when she was born to Virginia Deloris Gilbert, (known to all as "Dee") and Timothy Dix. She was the youngest and only sister of her three brothers, twins Mike (deceased) and Mark, and Bob.

Tina was a cute, loving, and somewhat willful little girl who was happiest when spending time with her mother and grandmother learning how to cook, sew, and craft, all skills at which she excelled (later adding couponing and shopping). Many friends and family benefited from her generosity with one or more of her skills.

In the early 1980's, Tina met Tony Pecararo and they had two daughters: Elizabeth Ann Dix and Christina Marie Dix. Tina and Tony parted ways in the early 2000's. Their children grew and forged their own paths, forming families of their own. Beth with Arturo and sons Arturo and Estevan; and Christina with Waid Wynn and daughter Leah.

Tina's pride in her extended family was apparent as she and her companion Alan provided the space and love for their grandchildren to excel. Known for her persistent energy, she found ultimate joy in the adventures she shared with her family. She took both pleasure and pride in their many accomplishments as she guided their efforts in projects that included reading, sewing, music, gardening, horseback riding, cooking, canning, and Motorcross.

Alas, Tina was never a fan of 'moderation'. A firm believer in if it was worth doing, it was worth overdoing, often cost her dearly, but it was who she was, pushing and prodding as much living into her life as possible. All who knew Tina knew she lived wild and loved strong.

As the sun set on her last day, she lived her final hours with a heart full of love and joy. She spoke with her children and grandchildren, planning the next adventure.

I will never really leave you;

I promise I'll be watching from above

And you can believe forever

That I'll send you all my love.

So don't worry about the past,

I'm here in a place of joy

And I've found that peace at last.

I wish I could wipe away your tears

And mend the hurt you feel inside.
