La cremación es simple y hermosa. Planning your loved one’s funeral services can be an emotional process. No matter what kind of service you choose, cremation can fit in as a meaningful part of your loved one’s funeral arrangements. We are here to help you choose an option that’s right for you and your family.

Your Options For Cremation

Traditional cremation services can take place at any time in the funeral service journey. You can have a viewing and funeral service followed by cremation, or an informal reception followed by cremation, as well as many other options. We can help you decide which is best for you and your family.

Direct Cremation

This is when cremation occurs immediately after your loved one passes. Direct cremation can be followed by funeral services, including a graveside service if you choose to bury your loved one’s ashes.

Cremation With Catholic Funeral Services

Cremation is compatible with Catholic funeral services when the cremation takes place after the Funeral Mass. To comply with the traditions of a Catholic funeral service, ashes must then be buried with the Rite of Committal.

If you’d like to scatter your loved one’s ashes, we can help you decide where. Some places, like public parks, require special permission. If you’d prefer, you can scatter your loved one’s ashes in a Denver-area cemetery, or in our own Cremation Gardens®, a Certified Wildlife Habitat that captures the natural beauty of Colorado. There are other options as well, like scattering on private land, or over a body of water.

No matter what type of cremation you choose, we encourage you to customize your loved one’s services to reflect their unique personality. Whether you choose a Catholic funeral, burial with a graveside service, or a scattering ceremony, your loved one’s services can be personalized with an urn, music, prayer cards, stories from family and friends, or anything else you feel is meaningful. We know you may already have ideas about how to make your loved one’s funeral services special, and we will work closely with you to plan services that uniquely honor your loved one.
